As an elder, I’m occasionally frustrated because I’ve bought into the idea that time is flying faster than it was in years gone by; I wonder if we have these thoughts about time because, as we age, most tasks feel like they take far more time to complete.
Is time reallly moving faster, or is that an illusion?
As a practitioner of shamanism and other ancient earth arts, I experience timelessness every time I go on a shamanic journey.
Befoe I journey, I intentionally release a part of my soul, allowing it to travel beyond the veil to places outside of space and time, places similar to what the Webb Telescope is capturing in photos.
Speaking of the Webb Telescope, recent images it’s captured were recently published in the NYT, from where I’ve copied the two images below. These image absolutely blow my mind!
Take a look, a very close look ,at these photos; gaze into them; what do you see? What do you wonder these images are conveying to us?
Keep reading below the photos where I’ll share what I’ve learned about these galactic wonders..
The first image is of four separate galaxies; all of them are about 4 billion light years away.
What were you doing 4 billion years ago? Is it possible you existed in a different form? Do you wonder if there are life forms similar to those on Earth in these faraway galaxies. And, since they’re four billiion light years away, do they still exist?
And, speaking of time, what do you think and what do you wonder about time after you’ve viewed this first stunning photo.
The second photo is of the Pillars of Creation; this form is sixty-five hundred light years away; it’s an immeasurably huge formation of gas and dust that creates perfect conditions for the ongoing birth of new stars.
Yes! There’s ongoing birth in the cosmos! I believe there’s nothing in the cosmos that’s immutable.
I have to admit, despite thousands of experiences in the void, in timelessness, these images have added to my many wonderings
What do I feel about time after viewing these photos of life billions of light years away?
What do believe about time? What do you think the concept of time is doing for us?
I wonder if time is actually meaningless.
I’ve concluded that I’m merely a nano-second of creation on a planet that is beautiful, yet merely one planet within billions of galaxies.
Truly these distances, in both time and space, are impossible for our limited minds to encompass. I am curious about how quantum physics complicates the idea of time, really moving us away from linear time into a kind of dream time where all time and space is holographically interconnected--in other words, shamanic time! It seems like a positive step forward that science and spirituality are beginning to harmonize, after so many centuries as strangers. They meet on the magical terrain of deep time, so beautifully depicted in the Webb telescope photos.
